SEO consultant Stanislav Peev expands into AI Search Optimization

Bratislava-based SEO consultant Stanislav Peev has expanded his independent SEO consulting practice into generative engine optimization, helping companies in the USA, the UK and Europe stay visible inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews.

Bratislava, Slovakia, 27th Jul 2026 – Stanislav Peev, an independent SEO consultant with 17 years in search, has expanded his consulting practice to cover generative engine optimization, the discipline of making a business visible inside AI-generated answers rather than only inside the classic list of blue links. The expanded practice serves companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia and Bulgaria, and is documented at https://stanislav-peev.com/

The move follows original research published by the consultancy in July 2026, which found that 93 percent of companies tested had at least one basic fact about them hallucinated or missing entirely from an AI chatbot answer. The study aggregated more than 13,000 queries across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, and reported that small businesses received fabricated facts at roughly double the rate of large companies. Over the same period, the share of consumers using AI assistants to find local businesses rose from 6 percent to 45 percent. The full study is available at https://stanislav-peev.com/research/ai-wrong-business-information-statistics/.

“A company can rank first in Google and still be described incorrectly by the assistant that a customer actually asks,” said Stanislav Peev. “Those are now two separate visibility problems, and most businesses are only measuring the first one.”

The expanded service line covers AI search visibility tracking, citation analysis across the major assistants, entity and knowledge graph work, AI crawler access, technical SEO, local search and Google Business Profile optimization, and one-to-one training. Engagements are offered at fixed scope rather than hourly billing, and are described at https://stanislav-peev.com/services/

Peev has worked in search full time since 2009 and has delivered projects for more than 150 clients, including Survalyzer, a Swiss survey software provider, YPI Yachts in the superyacht sector, SGT Auto Transport in the United States vehicle shipping market, the online piano education platform Zapiano, the luxury hotel booking service StarsDesk, and the Australian induction software provider Induct For Work. More than ten of those years have been spent on tourism and luxury travel search, a sector where seasonal demand and third-party booking platforms make organic visibility unusually difficult to hold.

Alongside client work, Peev has published three original research studies on generative search. The first proposes Reference Rate, a metric intended to measure how often a brand is referenced inside an AI answer, as a successor to click-through rate in environments where the answer replaces the click. The second examines the agentic web, in which AI agents browse, compare, and purchase on behalf of users. The third is a controlled experiment comparing AI-generated optimization against work produced by a human SEO professional, identifying where automation matches expert judgement and where it fails.

Peev has served as an invited expert on the annual SEO Predictions panel from 2023 through 2026, appeared as a guest expert on Bulgarian National Television in 2021, and has spoken at industry conferences since 2020. He is a guest author at Link-Assistant, the developer of SEO PowerSuite, and holds certifications from Google Ads, Google Analytics, Semrush, Ahrefs, Yoast Academy, Netpeak and Serpstat.

The expansion is positioned against a wider shift in how companies buy search expertise. Agencies typically assign junior staff to day-to-day execution while the senior SEO expert who won the account moves on to the next pitch. The SEO freelance model reverses that structure: the specialist who audits the site is the specialist who executes the work. Peev describes the arrangement as an outsourced senior SEO specialist who reports against agreed key performance indicators rather than against volume of deliverables.

“Search has stopped being one channel,” said Peev. “It is now a Google result, a map pack, an AI Overview and a chatbot recommendation, and each of them reads a different set of signals. The businesses that are protected are the ones whose facts are consistent everywhere those systems look.”

The practice works in English, Russian and Bulgarian, operates remotely from Bratislava, with responses committed within one business day. Availability is limited to a fixed number of concurrent monthly engagements.
